Imran Abbas and Sadia Khan’s movie “Abdullah” will be in cinemas on 5 June

Pakistan: Upcoming movie “Abdullah”  ‘ The final witness’  is special for its entry in Cannes film festival, As this movie was registered surprisingly at the last minute. And now the management says it will be in cinemas on 5 June.

“Abdullah” is the only feature length movie which will represent Pakistan in Cannes festival. While its distribution company “Distribution club” says that it will be screened on 5 June.

Imran Abbas, Sajid Hasan, Sadia Khan and Hameed Sheikh are the key actors of this movie. While the Lollywood analysts expects that this movie will be successful to attain the attention of a huge audience on its very first day of the launch.

This 90 minutes long, Urdu language movie is based on the real story of the controversial Kharotabad incident in Quetta on May 17, 2011, When a group of 4 Russian and 1 Tajik citizens was killed while passing through Balochistan.

Its story is derived from the original inquiry and court proceedings of the incident. While director also choose the real locations of the incident for shooting.

Abdullah is the first movie on this topic and it is aimed to answer the controversial questions regarding the incident by the international media.

The films Writer, Producer, and Director is Hashim Nadeem, A bureaucrat who was appointed in Quetta at the time of the incident.
