Altaf assisted diffuse clashes between PTI, MQM workers: Imran

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan who is in Karachi to jump-start his party’s election operation for by-polls in NA-246 constituency.

The party chairman was certain to address his followers at Jinnah Ground; though, a clash among PTI and Muttahida Qaumi Movement workforces broke out as the rally advanced the venue.

MQM leader Farooq Sattar powerfully disallowed PTI’s claims that his party workers created disturbance during Imran Khan’s rally in Karachi.

“My workers did not conventional have a stick in their hands,” he said while speaking a press conference.

He believed Imran Khan’s decision not to say prayers at the MQM martyrs in memory was not influenced by the ‘small-scale incident’ between mischief-makers, addition that the atmosphere of trust between the two parties should continue.

“We required them to visit Nine Zero as well, where we had ready a scrumptious meal, as well presents,” said Sattar.

Speaking the media at the airport, the PTI chairman said, “I welcome MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s declaration, diffusing the situation.”

“We were a little saddened with the clatters and want Altaf Hussain and the police to take strict act against [the perpetrators],” he adds.

Mentioning to the formation of the judicial commission, Imran said, “I acknowledge all those who participated in the sit-in and all those who came to my rally in Karachi.”

Self-assured his rally in Karachi on April 19 will be an achievement, the PTI chairman said, “Jinnah Ground is too small for PTI’s tsunami.”
