Islamabad: Taking notice of the Axact scandal, Interior minister orders for investigation, For which FIA team sealed the Axact group head office and also arrested their staff
New york times, A leading news paper of America reported yesterday that Axaxt group is involved in issuing fake degrees online. They have fake videos of Professors and Students to inspire new clients. They actually sell fake degrees of no worth.
Interior minister Ch Nisar took notice of this report and said, “Legal action will be taken against any group who will be involved in defamation Pakistan”
Following this statement, FIA cyber crime wing consisting on 7 members including IT experts arrived at the head office of Axact group in Karachi. They arrested the employees and also seized the equipment for investigation.
After that another FIA team also rated on their office in Islamabad and arrested the staff including the PR and HR managers. They also takes the equipments and official records in custody for investigation of the allegations by NYT,
However, Axact group refused for its involvement in any illegal activity but the officials will investigate and the investigation report will be presented before interior minister as he is supervising this matter directly.
It should be in mind that the CEO of Axact group Shoaib Sheikh is going to launch a media channel with the name “Bol” this year in Pakistan. This media house also declares that they have the most renowned journalists of Pakistan on board and it gives the highest salary in the country.
