Islamabad: SC suspends the decision of election tribunal of re.election in NA-125 which restores the key person of PML-N in NA-125 as MNA
However, Khawaja Saad Rafiq was suspended by the election tribunal due to proofs of rigging is the general elections as reported earlier.
PML-N challenged this decision in the supreme court of Pakistan and on Monday SC suspends that orders as the candidate was not directly involved in the rigging process.
A three-judge bench of SC led by justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali suspended the tribunal’s decision and restores Federal minister railways as MNA on NA-125.
SC also suspends the tribunal decision of re-poll on the Punjab assembly consistency PP-155. Supreme court adjourned the hearing for an indefinite time and orders the tribunal to provide all the record within four weeks.
