Representation of Women’s Issues in PTV Drama Serials: An Overview

Abstract

This article tries to present an impression of depiction of women’s subjects in Pakistan Television (PTV) drama serials. Women’s matters have been distresses of PTV programs since its early days. Mostly, drama serials have been important in this regard. Though, it is a substance of study whether they are really thoughtful on the difficulties of women or whether they describe women in a conventional images.
