Speaking to the media after handling the Nikkah, Mufti Syed said, “Imran Khan sb asked me to speak on his behalf to the media, his Nikkah just happened and the witnesses included Aun Chaudhary, Zakir Khan, Reham’s friend Aziz and others.”

According to the sources, It was a low-pitched event and only family members of Reham Khan and Imran Khan attended the Nikkah solemnity.
Earlier, there were some reports that walima ceremony may also be a fundraiser for Shaukat Khanum Cancer Memorial Hospital, which is currently under construction in Peshawar.
However, the reports were denied by PTI leaders. PTI’s Information Secretary Shireen Mazari also informed that, “No such tickets will be distributed.”

Mazari also informed that it’s going to be celebrated with simplicity as Imran does not want to celebrate considering the Peshawar tragedy.
She added that Imran Khan had delayed the announcement as he had to take his children in confidence first.
