A bizarre fish with what aspects like human teeth has been gathered by baffled fishermen after they exposed it in a lake thousands of miles from its home.
Ron Rossi and his son Frank were fishing in a lake in Delran, New Jersey when they trapped the odd-looking animal.
At first, the pair supposed the fish might have been a piranha.
Frank said: “I’ve not ever seen everything like that earlier in the lake. It was different.”
But on closer review, the fish’s teeth weren’t jagged and sharp like a piranha’s – but really blunt like a human’s.
